Board-Certified Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner

With over 15 years of experience in healthcare, I have worked in various roles, including as a registered nurse and adult/geriatric nurse practitioner. Over time, I discovered that my true passion lies in mental health, and I made the decision to specialize as a psychiatric mental health nurse practitioner.

I am dedicated to building strong, trusting relationships with my clients and creating a space where they feel safe, understood, and at ease. I believe in valuing and honoring all aspects of my clients’ identities. My approach to care is collaborative and balanced, with a strong belief in involving clients in the development of their treatment plans. I treat individuals from ages 15 to 65, and specialize in a wide range of conditions, including depression, anxiety, mood disorders, PTSD, OCD, ADHD, and adjustment disorders.

In my practice, I emphasize evidence-based treatments while also considering the importance of holistic, patient-centered care. I deeply believe in the mind-body connection and the impact it has on our overall well-being, and I work with clients to integrate strategies that promote a balance of both mental and physical health.

In my free time, I enjoy spending time outdoors—whether it's riding mountain bikes, rock climbing, or working with foster dogs and animal rescue organizations. I also love getting lost in fantasy fiction books and bingeing TV shows. These activities help me maintain a healthy work- life balance and recharge so I can be fully present for my clients.
